After each guess, color-coded tiles give feedback: Green indicates an exact match. Yellow indicates a close Pokédex proximity (within 10 numbers), adjacent region (±1 generation), or partial type match in other slot. Grey indicates no match. Up (▲) and down (▼) arrows indicate whether the mystery Pokémon's Pokédex number is higher or lower than your guess.

When does the daily Pokémon puzzle reset?

A new daily battle encounter arrives every day at 12:00 AM (midnight) in your local timezone. A countdown timer on the game screen displays the exact time remaining until the next Pokémon appears.

Which Pokémon generations are included in PokéGuesser?

All 9 official Pokémon generations are included, from Generation 1 (Kanto, #0001 Bulbasaur) through Generation 9 (Paldea, #1025 Pecharunt), encompassing all 1,025 Pokémon.

PokéGuesser is a free, interactive daily Pokémon guessing game designed for trainers and puzzle enthusiasts worldwide. Inspired by word-guessing phenomena like Wordle and Squirdle, PokéGuesser tests your Pokédex knowledge by selecting a new mystery Pokémon every single day at midnight.

Trainers have 10 attempts to deduce the mystery Pokémon using strategic clues including Pokédex Number (higher / lower indicators), Primary & Secondary Elemental Typings, and Native Region / Generation. Every time you submit a Pokémon guess, the retro battle arena generates 5 distinct feedback tiles:
